Pizza has not been a part of my life for the last 2 and 1/2 months since I've been doing low carb. I mean, come on, pizza is basically one giant carb. I would feel incredibly guilty for eating it, and I would basically be back at square one. (b/c I would definitely want more if I had some).
I decided it was time to find a low carb pizza recipe that would satisfy my craving and bring me back to the 90's. I did it. So...it's not exactly like the pizza you order from Papa Johns or Pizza Hut, but it's a great substitute. The "crust" is made out of cheese, cream, cream cheese and eggs. (I feel like there is a theme there). You can put whatever toppings you want on it. I love bacon so, of course, that goes on there. It's more of a fork and knife kind of pizza, but it definitely satisfies the craving. So next time you find yourself picking up the phone to order a pizza, put the phone down and follow the recipe below.
